Estetika je stvar ukusa, ali vecina svoj ukus ne formira na osnovu licnih afiniteta, vec pod uticajem opste javnosti. Tako ce kod vecine svaki Ferrari uvek biti najbolji i najlepsi zato sto je Ferrari, Rols ce uvek biti najelegantniji i sl. Ja sam licno najveci ljubitelj dizajna 50ih, 60ih i ranih 70ih, kada su automobili jos uvek bili neka vrsta umetnickog dela pojedinih dzajnera, za razliku od danasnjih dana gde konacan izgled vozila odredjuju timovi priucenih klinaca i bordovi direktora koji sa dizajnom imaju veze koliko i kasirka iz C marketa.

Moj favoriti za najlepse automobile su Ajkula za limuzine i Alfa Montreal za kupee.

Mislim da ni to nije nista cudno jer su novi CAFE standardi o potrosnji bas tada stupili na snagu.

Ford je ubacivao 2.3L motor u Mustanga jos od 1974, a kada su novi CAFE standardi nastali krajem 1970ih turbo je bio najlaksi nacin da se poveca snaga i pri tom ne osteti potrosnja.

Nista cudno, turbo se tada poceo ugradjivati i u Pontiac Trans Am (301cid/5.0L).

Nista cudno, muscle moze da bude i sa parnom masinom ako treba... ;)

Stvar je u tome sto je "muscle cars" koncepcija a ne spisak striktnih osobina koje auto mora da ima. Od kad postoje sportski automobili, postoji i zelja da se performanse dobiju za male pare. Amerikanci su na svoj velicanstven nacin primenili tu formulu ali gde god postoji razvijena industrija, postoje i nekakvi muscle cars. Golf GTi je EU muscle, Mini Cooper isto i brdo slicnih automobila jer su napravljeni prema zamisli "najjaci motor u lakoj pixli, primamljivi dizajnerski detalji i pristojna cena..." Svako je napravio muscle od onog sto je imao dosupno. EU marke su imale 4 cilindricne motore i kompaktne karoserije a Amerikanci su imali V8 i 5 metara lima ali je princip i osnovna zamisao ista...

F-body GM's su mi nekako bili mnogo bolji izbor tih godina , za nekog ko je patio za starim muscle. Sa druge strane , i stari muscle su tada bili dovoljno svježi , pa je vjerovatno Fox zvučao kao nešto modernije i drugačije. Ništa nebih imao protiv Cobre , ili nekog V8 fox , ali 2.3 turbo... bljak. Ionako ideš sporo i još moraš da trpiš mučeništvo nekog niskobudžetnog turba osamdesetih.

Ja se nebi nista protivio 1984-1986 Mustang SVO sa 2.3L turbo.

Izgledao je malo kao hatchback , ali svakako vrlo sportski i konačno kompaktna karoserija. Ovaj Fox mi je dobra fora za sleeper , pošto se lako budži. Pogotovo zato što "naivno" izgleda.

I brat koji je nasvirao kobru na 1000hp , doduše NASCAR motor , sa Hot Roda
